There is a great circular walk from Alton. Good for dog walkers, very scenic, often walking alongside a stream, some stunning large rock formations and good views across the valley. Full review by LondonTubbs

Hi, depends where you walk? On some of the walks there are a few benches to sit down on. The only problem of course will be is there some one there already? If you enjoy walking & need a seat why don't you have a look at the shooting style seats that unfold from a walking cane. You could take a break when ever you need to. There are walks to suit almost everyone, from 7 miles to a lot less. Please find a walk in advance that suits your needs & enjoy a really buetiful place!
Yes, I've seen plenty of people take prams. Just keep in mind that it can get a little muddy sometimes so it might make it difficult if it has rained a day prior to your trip there.
