Hello there. Yes,you can get on some of the buses at the Museum. The best thing to do is to ask one of the staff or Volunteers at the Museum just which buses you can go on on the day of your visit. Ok. There is also the prototype Manchester Team there which you can sit on any day. In addition check the Museum's web site regarding the special "Running Days" that they have throughout the year, when you can actually go on rides around town on some of the buses. They are great. Enjoy the Museum. It is fantastic.....I hope that this helps you a little.

Takes about 15 minutes walk to tge 135 bus stop on Lever Street, ask the driver for Queens Road bus garage bus stop, walk over the dual carriageway, the turn left onto Boyle Street, the museum is right at the end, but only short walk from the bus stop. From Piccadiily rail station all in, shoul take no more than 35 minutes to the museum.

We are open Weds Sat and Sundays only 10 -4.30pm. Play bus and colouring table for children, access to around 6 buses to explore. All under cover but a little cold at this time of year Probably a taxi would be best from the Airport as train / bus would take around an hour or Metrolink to Queens Rd - change at Victoria - is likely to take 70mins plus 10 min walk at the end There is the Runway Visitor Park (search on google) at the airport which has Concorde and various planes, plus viewing platforms for aircraft Hope this helps Paul W
