Delhi's air quality remained "very poor" for a 14th consecutive day on Tuesday, with an AQI reading of 334, as vehicular emission was the biggest contributor to the city's pollution, accounting for 15.

On Monday morning, the average AQI of the national capital plunged to 347. Despite being below 350, the AQI continued in the 'very poor' category of the air quality index, according to Safar.

Delhi's environment department has pinpointed 57 major pollution sources across 13 hotspots in the city. These hotspots, identified in 2018, have consistently recorded higher PM2.5 levels than the city's average.
