Man shot and killed during SWAT standoff in Marrero, JPSO says
An adult male was shot and killed by a deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office after authorities say he exited a residence armed with a weapon during a during an approximately six-hour standoff in Marrero on Tuesday. The Sheriff's Office has not yet identified the man.
