With millions of retired and active military members in the United States, most of America will be celebrating someone on Veterans Day this Monday, Nov. 11. In the nation’s capital, veterans are going to be spread across Washington D.

WASHINGTON, N.C. (WITN) - A celebration was held in Washington Monday to mark Veterans Day. It took place at Veterans Park and included a presentation of colors, singing of the National Anthem, and guest speakers reflecting on the day.

Communities across Oregon and Southwest Washington are gathering to commemorate Veterans Day on Monday. These various events include parades, ceremonies, as well as a benefit concert featuring country musicians.
