Multiple carrot products from multiple brands are being recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency because of E. coli contamination. The CFIA says the affected carrot juice and carrots were sold or had a best before date between Aug. 14 and Nov. 2.

Brands of the recalled carrots include Bunny Luv, Trader Joe's, Wegmans and more. The recall was initiated by Grimmway Farms. So far, there have been 39 illnesses, 15 hospitalizations and one death associated with the outbreak. Cases have been reported in 18 states.

The CFIA has recalled E. coli-tainted carrots, following a U.S. health warning about the contaminated produce linked to one death and dozens of illnesses.
