The Michigan State Spartans experienced multiple strengths and weaknesses on the offensive side in a brutal road loss to Boston College on Saturday night.

Lynch-Adams brought it out from a yard deep and was drilled, resulting in a fumble Boston College recovered at the 5. The Spartans held the Eagles to a field goal but it was still a free three points before Chiles threw a pick on the next snap.

As Michigan State gears up for a critical matchup against Boston College, the Spartans are facing significant adversity due to key injuries within their squad. Despite coming in with a perfect 3-0 record, the team will be severely impacted by the absence of several crucial offensive players, as reported by MLive.

Michigan State’s run game, outside of Chiles, is still struggling to get going. Chiles registered 57 yards on the ground on nine carries — most of which were him scrambling because the original play broke down. Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams recorded 61 of the team’s 127 rushing yards on 15 carries.

The Spartans will be extra short handed against Boston College with wide receiver Nick Marsh, Jaron Glover and Antonio Gates Jr. being ruled out.
