10-04-2017 07:52 PM. The electronics that QVC sells (laptops and everything else) are either one of two things: outdated/old mdse, or overpriced. If you buy the outdated tech, you get aging machines right out of the box. You may find some new, up-to-date products but they will nearly always be hundreds of $$ more than they would cost you elsewhere.

Basically they are affordable and maintenance free with virus/malware built in. HP Stream is Microsoft's version of Google's Chromebook.
