Mar 13, 2023 · The timing on Street Fighter Alpha (working title was Street Fighter Legends) was very good, as interest in SSF2T was really low at the time. People were playing MK2 and KI more than ST. The new art style, chain combos, abundant supers, air blocking, and lenient buffer windows were generally well received.
