I loved Jak and Daxter, Jak II, and Jak 3 growing up. I can't imagine the number of hours I spent in those games. However When Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier came out I tried it but couldn't get more than like 30 minutes into the game. I don't know if this was due to a different developer making the game or what happened.
Is Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier Any Good on Vita/PSP?
It has a gameplay experience similar to Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X, and even the original game in the series. You can still use cheats like the other games. Familiar sound effects are there, and the gameplay is still fun. Sound is also not loud enough, but should be louder on the slim Vita (VS the PSP) or with headphones.

Nov 14, 2022 · While The Lost Frontier was a pretty bad Jak game i think it was an ok adventure platformer/air combat game. Daxter however was a really really good game (especially for a PSP game) and a good Jak game with a story that actually tied into the main story in a meaningful way.
