Thoughts on Pure Balance (grain free) dog food? | Dog Forum
123 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · May 2, 2014. I seen Walmart selling a new dog food so I checked it out. I never would consider buying dog food from somewhere like Walmart but the ingredients looks really good and it was grain free. They have Salmon grain free and Bison grain free.

Notice the first ingredient in Natural Balance is a starch. 1st ingredient in dry should absolutely be a protein.
Do puppies actually need puppy food? Also Pure Balance dog food?
Feb 9, 2015 · They claim it's an all life stages food so you should be able to feed it to the puppy without a problem. I don't use the dry kibble, but do use the Pure Balance wet food. I use it as a stuffing for his kong, layering it with his kibble, and so far haven't had a problem with it. The food it's great but from what I can tell it's a decent food.
