I got a wave 3, how do I get the best quality audio from this?
Feb 15, 2022 · The answer is that each Channel of the Wave software can be set as either an ouput (speaker) or an input (mic). In this case you want to selct your mic (in the program you are using to talk to your friends) to be "Wave Link Microphone FX." This the the microphone channel with the VSTs working. The MIC IN option is just the raw mic. Hope this helps

Feb 13, 2021 · In the app make sure the headset is muted under the wave 3 audio source. On the mic the button on the right (the light) is the audio mix. All the way to the right is no mixing, all the way to the left is all mic audio. As you adjust it, it mixes further right is louder mic and further left is louder system audio.

Nov 5, 2021 · Just upgraded to a wave 3 yesterday and I noticed that it picks up my keyboard very heavily. I was wondering if it's possible to get some sort of noise reducer to get rid of that. I use Streamlabs obs to adjust my sound settings since for some reason when I try to add the wave 3 into wave link it crashes or doesn't let me adjust anything.

Aug 2, 2020 · The default sample rate of Wave:3 is 48kHz. In OBS Studio, open the settings and on the Audio tab, make sure the Format is set to 48kHz. Next, open the finder search and enter MIDI and you should be able to open the MIDI control panel. Select the Wave:3 and make sure the input format is 48kHz. This solved it for me on MacOS.

Oct 25, 2023 · The Wave 3 mic does provide a 3.5mm headphone jack which allows one to have a zero lag output if desired. This output is the Wave Link monitor and can be assigned as the OBS monitor. The output will play both in this case. Personally I assign a different jack for OBS so that I hear the affect of the side chain compression.
